In this project I was specifically exploring colour, tone and textures within nature. The colour combinations and textures discovered provided me with endless inspiration. I visited the Botanical Gardens that truly enthused me: It gave me a deeper understanding of colour and tone, following this experience I then attempted to explore different aspects of flora and fauna.

I concentrated on whites and the minimal splashes of colour, these were muted and with textures in mind I connected this to the natural form.

The title Abundance of Colour was derived from the fact that white light in the electromagnetic spectrum is built up from all visible colours red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
